Simracing:
Gran Turismo 7

In the summer of 2024, I got myself a racing chair and a steering wheel with pedals together with my buddy (greetings to Pit!) to be able to experience online races in the simulation game Gran Turismo as realistically as possible. I can recommend this to anyone who wants to feel like a racing driver for little money. The first few races were still very unfamiliar because of the force feedback, but we soon got the hang of it and were able to keep up in reasonably good lobbies. Below you can see some clips, which are basically just meant to look cool!

GT7 - Offline Race at Lake Louise

Here's a short video about a race category that I'm not very fond of: Rally racing. However, the backdrop and the classic rally legend Audi Quattro S1 is a real eye-catcher. However, it wasn't completely collision-free.

GT7 - Qualifying Lap: Red Bull Ring

If you are alone on the slope, you can have fewer accidents. That's at least partly true. Here you can see a practice lap on the Red Bull Ring with a modified and Lancer Evolution.

GT7 - Online Race at Blue Moon Bay Speedway

Here you can see a short excerpt from our best race result to date in the online class. Was I able to hold on to pole? A driving mistake is particularly dangerous in Turn 1 and in the turn to the start-finish straight.
